The Fat Duck, which is situated in Bray, was opened by top chef Heston Blumenthal to serve the public with his weird and wonderful culinary efforts.
Recently a pair of YouTubers Josh and Olly, known by their subscribers as JOLLY, went to visit Mr Blumenthal at the restaurant to sample his new menu.
In the introduction to their video, which is favorably titled ‘The Best Restaurant in the UK (literally),’ the two describe their excitement visiting The Fat Duck.
“Today we are in a tiny village which is home to maybe the most famous British restaurant ever,” they say.
“This is probably the best restaurant in the world. I can’t believe this is happening.”
JOLLY is then met by Mr Blumenthal who takes them through his Alice in Wonderland-themed taster menu.
The duo starts by trying an edible cocktail created in freezing liquid nitrogen.
“The purpose of this is palette cleansing at the beginning of the meal,” Mr Blumenthal tells Josh and Olly.
“I always used to brush my teeth before going out to dinner but hated that residual toothpaste taste. This is a different way.”
